Automatic sliding gates provide convenient, secure and reliable access for villas, commercial buildings, warehouses, offices and residential communities. However, like any automated system, a sliding gate requires regular inspection and maintenance to ensure smooth and safe operation.

1. Gate Motor & Gearbox

The motor and gearbox are the main driving components of an automatic sliding gate.

During servicing, technicians should check:

  • Motor operation and performance
  • Unusual noise or vibration
  • Gearbox condition
  • Mounting and fixing
  • Lubrication where applicable
  • Signs of overheating or leakage
