A garage door that will not open, closes halfway, or has started making noise is usually one failed part, not a door that needs replacing. We repair all eight of the parts below, on sectional, insulated, glazed and industrial garage doors.

What you notice: The door feels extremely heavy, will not stay up on its own, or you heard a loud bang from the garage. A broken spring is the single most common garage door failure.
What we do: We measure the door weight and fit a matched replacement spring. Springs are under high tension and are not a safe DIY job — the visit is done by a technician with the correct winding tools.
What you notice: The remote does nothing, the motor hums but the door does not move, or the opener runs for a second and stops.
What we do: We test the opener, the capacitor and the drive, and either repair the existing motor or replace it. Where the motor is sound and the fault is elsewhere, we say so rather than selling a new one.
What you notice: The door is hanging crooked, one side lifts before the other, or a steel cable has come off its drum.
What we do: We replace the lift cables in pairs, reset them on the drums and re-balance the door so the load is even on both sides.
What you notice: Grinding or squealing as the door travels, or the door judders instead of running smoothly.
What we do: We replace worn rollers and bearings and check the hinges they sit in, since a seized roller usually damages the track as well.
What you notice: The door sticks at the same point every time, comes off the track, or there is a visible bend or gap in the rail.
What we do: We straighten or replace the affected track section and re-align both rails so the door runs square. A door forced along a bent track will keep failing until the rail is fixed.
What you notice: A panel is dented after a vehicle knock, or one section has corroded while the rest of the door is fine.
What we do: We replace the damaged section rather than the whole door where the panel profile can be matched, and check that the hinges either side are still true.
What you notice: The door starts closing then reverses back up for no reason, or refuses to close at all. Almost always the photo-eye sensors either side of the opening.
What we do: We clean, re-align or replace the sensors and re-test the reversing behaviour, because this is the part that stops the door closing on a car or a person.
What you notice: A remote has stopped working, has been lost, or you need extra handsets for another car in the household.
What we do: We program replacement or additional remotes to your opener and re-pair any existing handsets and wall buttons.
